The scar scar 16s is a fast-handling, accurate firearm with improved controls that let you employ any grip style, optic, or firing position. Its gas-driven, short-stroke piston platform, which has a precise and reliable design, works well for target practice and law enforcement. Furnished with a compensator-equipped, chrome-lined, cold-hammer-forged free-floating barrel and folding iron sights that are detachable and adjustable for the front and rear.

Full-length MIL-STD-1913 rails at the 3, 6, 9, and 12 clock positions are featured on the hard-anodized monolithic aluminum receiver, giving additional room for rail-mounted accessories. The operating controls consist of an expanded trigger guard for convenient access with gloves and two ambidextrous charging handles that stay static under fire. It can be switched between left and right, and an ambidextrous security lever and magazine release. The adjustable length of pull and height of the cheek rest ensure that this folding polymer buttstock fits every type of shooter. The Scar 16s and A2-style handgun grip provide a stronghold. Utilizes a low-friction follower and a steel 10- or 30-round magazine (not included).
