The FN® PS90™, chambered in the 5.7x28mm cartridge for improved accuracy and dependability, uses blowback operation and shoots from a closed bolt. The 16.04′′ MIL-SPEC cold hammer-forged barrel of the PS90 is permitted for civilian use and has an integrated muzzle brake to lessen recoil. The FN ps90 is ambidextrous with dual magazine locks, cocking handles, and an inventive synthetic thumbhole stock with a molded-in sling attachment hook. There are models with detachable polymer magazines holding 10 or 30 rounds.
